Prairie Honey Co. is a small business run by Konnor Killoran in Toronto, Ontario. We collect as little as we can, and only to get honey to you.
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email, what you bought, and how you're getting it. For delivery, also your phone number and address.
- Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We see the card type and last four digits, never the full number.
- When you contact us: your name, email and message. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you're a person, not a bot.
- Visits: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without building a profile of you.
What we do with it
Fill your order, answer your message, and keep the records the law requires. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't run ads. The only companies that handle it are Stripe (payments) and Cloudflare (hosting, email and bot checks).
You'll get emails about your order, and that's it. We won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to join one.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept as long as Canadian tax rules require, currently six years. Contact messages are deleted once they're no longer needed.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we're not required to keep. Email hello@prairiehoney.ca. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
