Shipping & returns

What you can order

• 500 g jar, 500 g of unpasteurized honey, $15. Up to 12 per order.
• 1 kg pail, 1 kg of unpasteurized honey, $25. Up to 6 per order.

Both sizes are pickup or Toronto delivery only. Stock is whatever has arrived from Alberta; when a size sells out, it's gone until the next batch.

Getting your honey

• Pick up on a Monday night, free. After you order, we email you where and when. Your order is ready the next Monday.
• Toronto delivery, $5, or free on orders over $40. We deliver it ourselves to postal codes starting with M, within 5 days of your order, and email you to arrange a time.
• Outside Toronto, not yet. If a delivery order comes from outside the area, we'll cancel it and refund you in full.

Prices and payment

Prices are in Canadian dollars. Honey is a basic grocery, so there's no GST or HST to add. Any delivery fee and the total are shown before you pay. You pay the full amount up front through Stripe, by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or another option Stripe offers at checkout. We never see your full card number.

Missed pickup

We'll hold your order for two Mondays. If you can't make it by then, email us and we'll arrange something else or refund you.

Broken, damaged or wrong

Glass happens. If a jar arrives broken, a pail arrives damaged, or your order isn't right, email a photo to hello@prairiehoney.ca within 48 hours and we'll replace it or refund you, whichever you prefer.

Returns

Because it's food, we can't take honey back once it's left our hands, opened or not. If something's wrong with the honey itself, get in touch and we'll make it right.

Cancelling and refunds

Changed your mind? Email us before pickup or delivery and we'll refund you in full. We send refunds within 15 days of cancelling, usually much sooner. They go back to your original payment method, and your bank may take 5 to 10 business days to show them.

Nothing here limits your rights under Ontario's Consumer Protection Act, 2002.

Your copy of the order

Stripe emails your receipt as soon as you pay, and the confirmation page shows what you ordered and when. Keep either one, along with this page, as your record.
